GMT’s story began in the early 1990s, driven by a passion for transport and a clear commitment to reliable, high-quality service.
In 1992, as new opportunities emerged across the logistics industry, GMT began its journey with a single second-hand truck operating between Turkey and Moldova. What started as a family business grew steadily into an international transport operation built on experience, consistency and long-term relationships.
After years of operating across CIS markets, expansion into Western Europe became the natural next step. Entering the European Union market marked a defining milestone for GMT — bringing new standards, new challenges and a new level of ambition. The company established operations in Romania, invested continuously in a modern fleet and developed strong relationships with leading European logistics partners.
Today, with more than 15 years of experience in the EU market, GMT operates over 125 latest-generation trucks and 80 company-owned trailers, delivering transport solutions across Europe.
GMT remains a second-generation, family-owned and operated company. As the business has grown, its principles have remained unchanged: integrity in every partnership, accountability, teamwork, customer commitment and continuous improvement.
